This site works by running a test on the connection between your PC and certain selected sites in a number of categories. We store the results of your tests (but do not store any personal information or IP addresses) which enables us to give you a view of the quality of your connection compared to the connection achieved by other users in your country. We have a certificate provided by Thawte.
This service is free to use. Our goal is to build up a picture of the quality of network connectivity offered by different Internet Service Providers which we believe will be valuable to the ISPs and to website owners who want to ensure they have good connectivity to their customers.
